Javascript-форум - Сделать выбранным элемент списка.

Привет всем!
Задача такая:
при клике на кнопку, должен выбраться пункт списка и открыться скрытый блок содержимого.

Сейчас атрибут списка устанавливается, но элемент списка не выбран и скрытый блок не отображается.

Кто подскажет, как решить?
