We are currently seeking a
Senior JavaScript Developer in
Kiev, Vinnitsa, Chernigov, Lugansk, and Uzhgorod local offices.
Job Description:
Unique opportunity to lead technically the JavaScript team that will reinvent the User Interface for online shopping at major global retailers, starting on the tablet. You will be able to design the browser-side architecture for an innovative platform to build single web page JavaScript e-commerce applications. You'll choose frameworks and libraries and devise and code approaches to implement state of the art cross-browser, cross-device UIs with animation, sound and rich interactivity.
Required knowledge/skills:- 4-5 years experience with Java Script development
- 2-3 years experience with jQuery, Dojo, ExtJs or YUI (preferably at least two of these)
- Experience using OOP/patterns in JavaScript, including thorough understanding of different ways to use inheritance, constructors, etc
- Experience using a JavaScript templating engine
- Substantial experience in producing design documentation (preferably in English), design data and class structures and overall architecture
Knowledge is a plus (in order of importance):- Having built real-world single web page applications using Backbone.js OR JavaScriptMVC
- Created or substantially contributed to a JavaScript framework or plugin
- Knockout.js or similar development with observables / data-binding
- Experience working with touch events, mobile scrolling, etc.
- Knowledge of:
- Kendo UI,
- Phonegap,
- Facebook APIs
