Front End Team Lead for US company
Our client is a US company with two offices in Ukraine. In their behalf we are seeking a highly talented FRONT END TEAM LEAD to join their team. The Client’s business culture is highly collaborative, hard-working, talented, and passionate about the web. They are creating sophisticated custom social engagements in a fast paced-environment. This is a full-time position based in Kiev with readiness for business trips in the US. Role is 70% “technical/coding” and 30% “management/effective communication”.
Responsibilities:
Work with US based account manager and define best technological answers to business needs. Environment is rich web applications using JavaScript and jQuery.
Quickly learn and develop with new technologies including Mobile Web (not a must).
Make sure team adherers to high standards when write UI code (among others understandable to, and maintainable by, other team members).
Work with UX lead designer to ensure designs are technically feasible and consistently
Maintain source code in the Git version control system.
Solve potential issues arising in the team. Scale up the Kiev front end team (expect to double in size over next 12 months to 10+ engineers/coders)
Qualities:
Motivated to solve problems with limited direction and oversight.
Disciplined at solving problems and when multi-tasking.
Adaptable to different ways of achieving team goals.
Communicative and collaborative in a team environment.
Able to communicate in English.
Able to work in a fast paced environment (both technology wise and project wise)
Knowledge of Agile/SCRUM methodology
